Day #1 ‘Current Relationship’ status
..if single, discuss how single life is.
Singlehood has been pretty amazing for me. I’ve had relationships, all duds. They opened my eyes to what I’ve known all along: I’m best when I’m unattached. I’ve begun traveling the world. My money is my own, decisions are made without having to seek permission, I can oogle all I want, make out with whoever I wish and not have to worry.
Being single for me assures me much more than should I be with a guy. When I’ve had boyfriends, they’re jealous of my free spirit, adventurous, thrill-seeking side and try to reel that in and tame it. I do what I want, if I am interested, I’ll learn it/do it/try it. I’m never content, and I don’t mind going at things alone should no one take interest or want to learn/go with me.
That fact alone has lead me to being a motorcycle owner who has done many road trips throughout national parks. It’s being single that allows for the 4-week road trip to Alaska and back, or the trips to Portugal and Spain. I love being single. I much prefer it to being in a steady relationship. I don’t think this aspect of me shall ever change. <3
